Sponsored content policy

At the moment, this website contains no sponsored content. Should that ever change, the following rules will be in place:

• Sponsored material is clearly marked as “Sponsored” and identifies the sponsor.
• All links within a sponsored section use the attribute rel="sponsored".
• Sponsored content never appears on the homepage, in the translator, in the glossary, in the lab values table or in the letter generator.
• Sponsors have no say over the explanations, sources or topics we cover.
• We do not take sponsorship from gambling, adult content or suppliers of prescription medicines.
• Sponsored content must meet the same standards for sources and health claims as everything else on the site.
