About this site
What this site is for
Many people get medical letters and test results they struggle to understand, and plenty are unaware that they are entitled to a free copy of their records. This site explains both in plain language: what the abbreviations and terms in a letter mean, and how to access your data in the EU and the UK.
Everything is free. The tools run in your browser and nothing is sent to us.
Who runs it
Sustain Project is run by SustainsP SAS, 18 Av. de la Chaumière, 17390 La Tremblade, France. Full operator details are in the imprint.
What we do not do
- We do not interpret personal results or suggest diagnoses or treatments.
- We do not show ads on the homepage. Cookies are set only for Google Analytics, and only if you accept them.
- We do not publish health claims without a source.
The domain and the SUSTAINS project
This domain used to host the website of SUSTAINS, an EU-funded project (2012-2014) on patients’ online access to their health records. We chose this topic because it continues the subject the domain was known for. An overview of what the project published, with citations, is on the SUSTAINS publications page.
Between 2017 and 2026 the domain was used by unrelated operators. None of their content has been restored.
